While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I experienced behind its entrance was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I entered , it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of stale beer and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire establishment . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , old age and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and debris that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The lavatory was in even a truly awful state— backed up, with a cracked flush mechanism and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human excrement .
